Dr. Brubaker specializes in psychotherapy and medication management for complicated patients. He enjoys helping people with their mental health needs, especially being able to provide both psychotherapy and medicines across the range of ages and issues people face.
Dr. Brubaker works with adults, children, adolescents and families. His office is in Fremont above a marina, with views of Lake Union, downtown Seattle and Mt Rainier.
Dr. Brubaker completed a combined MD/PhD program at the University of Cincinnati, Adult Psychiatry residency at the University of Washington, and a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Oregon Health and Science University. He has completed advanced training in depth psychotherapy and psychoanalysis, CBT, and DBT.
In his free time, Dr. Brubaker enjoys reading, hiking, and most activities in or on the water. He is a consultant for UW psychiatry residents for psychotherapy and medication management.
